What to Expect

During the conferences, teachers will provide insights into your child's academic and social progress. Expect a comprehensive overview that covers various aspects of your child's experience in kindergarten. This is a time to celebrate achievements and discuss any areas where additional support might be needed.

Parents are encouraged to come prepared with questions or concerns they might have. This proactive approach can lead to a fruitful discussion that benefits the child's development.

Conference Schedule

The conferences will take place over two days to accommodate parents' schedules. Here is the breakdown:

  • November 13th: Sessions from 1:00PM to 5:00 PM
  • November 14th: Sessions from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Each session will last about 20 minutes, allowing ample time for meaningful conversation. It's important to arrive a few minutes early to ensure everything runs smoothly.

How to Prepare

To make the most of your conference, consider jotting down a few key points you wish to discuss. This could include your child's strengths, any concerns about their learning process, or questions about upcoming projects and activities.

Feel free to inquire about how you can support your child's learning at home. Teachers are usually more than happy to suggest resources or strategies that align with classroom activities.

Building a Strong Partnership

The goal of these conferences is to create a supportive network around each child. When parents and teachers collaborate effectively, children benefit from a consistent approach that encourages growth and confidence.

Remember, this is also an opportunity to share your child's interests and hobbies outside of school. This information can be incredibly valuable for teachers as they work to create engaging and relevant learning experiences.

We look forward to welcoming you on November 13th and 14th. Together, we can ensure that every child has a positive and enriching kindergarten experience.
